Out here in the heart of the Cotswolds, Chatheroe Dog Training is all about helping dogs and their owners grow together, building confidence, trust, and skills that last a lifetime. While we specialise in gundog training, dogs of all breeds are always welcome, and every session is tailored to suit their individual needs.

The business is run by Thea Mathers. With nearly a decade of hands-on experience working and training dogs out in the field, combined with a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Welfare, Training, and Management. Over the years, she’s owned, trained, and worked her fair share of working breeds, and her love for traditional, rural life shines through in every session.

Whether it’s private one-to-one sessions, home visits, or full training days, everything is designed to be practical, supportive, and suited to real-life working and family dogs. And coming soon, immersive training camps will give owners and dogs the chance to learn, explore, and bond in the fresh air of the countryside.
