Terms and Conditions
Services Provided
We offer dog training services including private one-to-one training sessions, group training classes, and workshops or training events. All services are delivered using balanced training methods tailored to the individual dog and owner while prioritising safety, welfare, and effective learning.
Booking and Payment
Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received or written confirmation has been provided. Full payment may be required in advance of sessions. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of services. All prices are listed on our website or provided at booking and may be subject to change.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations made with more than 48 hours’ notice may be rescheduled. Less than 48 hours’ notice is non-refundable. Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will result in loss of the session fee. If we cancel a session, clients will be offered a rescheduled session or full refund where applicable.
Late Arrivals
If a client arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time and the full session fee remains payable.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide accurate information regarding their dog’s behaviour, health, and history; ensure their dog is vaccinated and fit to participate; follow training advice responsibly; maintain control of their dog at all times; and use suitable equipment as advised.
Tool and Equipment Consent
The Client acknowledges that training may involve the use of specific tools and equipment recommended by the Trainer, which may include leads, long lines, training collars, harnesses, or other training aids. The Trainer will explain correct use and safety procedures. By participating in training, the Client agrees to the use of recommended training equipment and accepts responsibility for following guidance provided. Any use of equipment outside of guidance provided by the Trainer is done at the Client’s own risk. The Trainer reserves the right to refuse the use of equipment deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
Aggressive or Dangerous Behaviour
Clients must inform us of any history of aggression, biting, or threatening behaviour. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if a dog poses a safety risk.
Health and Welfare
Dogs showing signs of illness, injury, or contagious conditions must not attend sessions. Training methods are tailored to each dog. Clients agree to follow guidance provided during sessions.
Liability
The client remains responsible for their dog’s behaviour at all times. Dog training involves working with animals whose behaviour can be unpredictable. Participation is at the client’s own risk. Chatheroe Dog Training accepts no liability for loss or damage to property, injury caused by a client’s dog, or failure to achieve specific training outcomes, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Children and Spectators
Children must be supervised at all times. Spectators attend at their own risk.
Photography and Media
We may take photographs or videos during training sessions for educational or marketing purposes. Clients must notify us in writing if they do not wish to be included.
Intellectual Property
Training materials remain the property of Chatheroe Dog Training and must not be copied or distributed without permission.
Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information will be used solely for providing services and communication and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
Weather and External Factors
Training may be postponed or relocated in unsafe weather or circumstances beyond our control. Alternative arrangements will be offered where possible.
Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate services if a client breaches these Terms, safety or welfare is compromised, or payments are not made.

Any concerns should be raised via email at info@chatheroedogtraining.com. We aim to resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
